I keep dosing her up with Calpol and it amazes me how great it really is, I mean it really kicks in quick. One minute an increasingly poorly little girl all hot and sweaty, rolling around clutching her tummy and the next minute she's whizzing around the kitchen on her car screaming demands to her brother.
When Paul got home he bought her a cbeebies magazine with all her favourite characters sprawled over the front cover, her little face beamed as we read it in bed together, when I had finished I placed it on the floor next to her bed.
"Hold on mum" she said
"what's the matter?" I replied
"I love it because Dad bought it, just for me, I will have it here in bed" she said.
I bet I have a bad back again tonight when she climbs in between Paul and I, knowing Isla it will be an un-Godly hour in the morning. When I say she sleeps star fished, I really do mean she takes over the entire bed, Paul ends up jumping into her bed and I still don't have any room in the bed left for me!
