I'm always stuck for new holiday getaway ideas so hopefully this will give you food for thought, if you haven't been you might want to go to visit in the future.
My pictures aren't brilliant because my battery died on the first day, I couldn't do anything about it because I forgot to pack my charger.
Weymouth is pretty big the beautiful clean beach sweeps right around for as far as the eye can see. The beach is scattered with activities for children including donkey rides, small fayre rides, sand sculptures and water sports.
The town has everything to offer boutique shops, plus the larger popular stores, cafes, restaurants, traditional pubs to classy dining pubs.
At the end of the town is the market square which is gorgeous, tucked away behind the harbour, it's not your typical indoor market smelling of rotting fish! they stock anything from childrens gifts rag dolls, and rocking horses to hand painted annie sloane furniture.
Our weekend was topped off with scorchingly hot weather and everywhere looks better in the sun. I hope it looks as good in the rain, we will definitely head back there some time in the future.
